truth on houses

I'm a freshman from Texas and coming to Bama next year. I'm coming up a lot for the big spring parties this and next month and a lot of people came from my high school and are different fraternity's, which are truly good fraternity's here and which aren't. I know a lot about SAE and Phi Gam but what else is there I should know. No bias between old and new row just be honest

are probably in no order
old row: SAE, DKE, KA, Phi Gam, Sigma Nu
new row:OX, SX, DX, Pi Kapp, Pike
I put the old row and new row labels just for your reference, not to indicate one group is better than the other.

The guy above is right about most but I'd say
Old Row SAE Sig Nu KA DKE and Phi Gam
New Row OX Beta Pike SX and Lambda Chi

Lots of Texas kids in SX Beta and Lambda Chi

You're either a LXA or a Beta if you're putting them above Pi Kapp and DX.

Lambda and Sigs are much hotter and thought more highly of by top tier sororities than Pi Kap or Delta Chi

Listen to number 1, not number 2 and you'll have a better time. I'm betting he's the rush chair for Lambda Chi. Beta could arguably switch out with Sigma Nu for the number 10 spot, but Lambda Chi is around 12 or 13 and is a fair drop from Beta and Sigma Nu.

Beta has been on probation and hasn't lived up to expectations and LXA is a pretty average new row house that hasn't improved in any big way, whereas Pi Kapp and DX have both been making big comebacks lately, definitely wouldn't put Beta or LXA ahead of either of those two.
