You can do that with any group. Every sorority has a wide range of personalities. Every group has the academics, the partiers, the sports fanatics, the girls there just for a Mrs., the career oriented...etc etc You should be able to find partiers in every group.

Keep an open mind during rush. Every single house has something wonderful about it. Don't come expecting to be begged to join anywhere. It's Alabama.

You'll find your house at the end of the week and be extremely happy with it, as long as you keep your options open. Don't let others sway you... I had a friend who went old row because she was told it was the "cool" thing to do and she ended up not only dropping but leaving UA altogether. You want to find the house you're comfortable in and can see yourself being in and being proud of it.

When will we receive invites to the parties in March? If we went to Preview will we have a better chance of being invited?

No you will not receive invites. Everyone rushing starts at the same time and sees every house. It’s organized and methodical. If some stranger reaches out to you and invites you out when you are in town- decline! That almost always leads to the girl getting dropped! We aren’t supposed to do that unless we already know you. Don’t fall prey to that. In the meantime get your social media accounts cleaned up, work on your resume and enjoy senior year. We will see you in August!

Enjoy your senior year and worry about all of this next year. People aren't lying when they say there aren't any bad houses at Alabama, and girls could find a home in any of them. They're so big and each house is filled with a diverse group of girls. It's really impossible to know from hundreds of miles away on a computer.
