which sorority promises the most bids
by: loop#2 by: Don't be so negative
I am sure the girl who you spoke with really wanted you in their house. But it takes more than one member to make a bid happen. Each sorority is limited in the number it can take. They may have wanted you but when all was considered they wanted others more. Be happy where you landed and find your group there. With over 400 members there will be people you like and don't like in each sorority. I am sorry you were disappointed.

NO HOUSE bid promised. Over eager girls misinterpret a genuine "I can't wait to see you tomorrow," or "I want you for my little," with "We promise you'll be here on bid day." No one makes that mistake because it can have bad consequences for the whole house. I see that the first girl responding (who probably wrote the original post too lol) wrote the same thing on G Phis page and got the same responses. She's just another bitter girl that didn't quite make it at Bama.

I got a "I am so excited to see you and welcome you home tomorrow ". With a hug along with other stuff like " you are exactly what we are looking for " and " we are going to have such a great time". Blah blah
Blah. Listed them first and was genuinely excited then shocked in the stadium. Felt like a bid promise to me.

No house promises bids. What happens is that girls say things like "hope to see you tomorrow," or "I think you'd make a perfect ABC." The poor little PNM hearing that thinks that the girl rushing her is magic and will make it happen. If you look at all the supposed bid promises, they're all like that.
