The only old row house they're ahead of is Phi Delt (albeit way ahead) and I'd put them behind the new row houses like OX, SX, DX, Pi Kapp and Pike.

Both are very influential fraternities, as they are both Old Row. Both are also very traditional and play a huge part in the history of UA. The boys I know in DKE and SAE have always been very nice to me and my sisters. Phi Delt is also very influential and powerful.

I mean they're alright, but they're one of the least powerful Machine houses and they've been down for a long time.

What's more, is that they do a bunch of antisocial stuff that embarasses Old Row and the whold system

The Old Row fraternities are considered top for one and only one reason, the alumni are entrenched in government of the state. They are also entrenched in pretty much any major business in the state as well.
So, if you want to live in the state get into politics or land a good job being a member of one the Old Row fraternities is a big leg up. Do people from other fraternities do well? Yes, even GDIs but the Old Row fraternities are the epitome of the old boy network in the state.
Does that mean they are cool guys? Does that mean they are the best fraternity? No
