what is "hotboxing" a pnm mean?

I've seen this term used but not sure what it means.

Hotboxing is when you smoke weed in the car with the windows up. So I guess it means when you try to dirty rush a PNM and make sure she has no other options outside of your house?

Hotboxing a PNM is when there are more than 3 (I think it's 3 but it may be 4) actives talking to the girl at once.

Is it done because they want her or because they are trying to overwhelm her? Thanks

It's because they want her and they want to put pressure on her to feel wanted there.

It's like 3/4 or more girls talking to 1 PNM at a time... So it's more of a conversation between the actives with the PNM answering a few questions here and there. Houses hotbox PNMs because they want the PNM to feel wanted and they want the house's interest in the PNM to be very clear. MOST PNMs that come through rush are never hotboxed, this is only for very highly desired PNMs... However, most of the "average" PNMs usually speak to 2 girls at a time in at least a few houses just because that how the rotations worked out and stuff. But if you only speak to one girl all the way through, don't feel discouraged.

And I'd assume the reason why hotboxing isn't allowed is because it can make the PNM feel overwhelmed and it can make other PNMs watching feel inadequate.

This happened to me several places. TBH it made me feel wanted but uncomfortable for other girls. Then there were girls getting hotboxed at places that I wasn't, and that didn't feel so good for me. I don't like it.

Had top house girls following on Insta before rush. At Iwt's, had some top houses with 5 girls talking to me at a time, asking me my name and even saying they would see me next round. Dropped by almost all of them except two. So happy I ended up where I am and love my house but just curious, why was I dropped? I have a high GPA but am from oos and not the south oos.

Remember a few years ago at rush I was hotboxed by 4-5 kappas and they were really sweet. They made it clear they wanted me, but then I was dropped? What happened there huh?
