frats and sororities
by: ala frat alum.As usual most don't know what a fraternity is all about. All have good qualities. It doesn't mean crap after you graduate what club you were in.

It actually does. People get jobs because of the specifics fraternity and chapter they were in all the time. The alumni support and connections can have implications way beyond college, and if you are calling fraternites and sororities a "club," it's you who doesn't get it.

The only people who say that undergrads trying to prove they are in a frat for something other than booze and girls.
The only time that holds true is trying to get a crap job with a crappy company. A real company is going to want the best qualified person for the job. They aren't going to hold on to some cronyistic ideal of hiring brothers. Get real.
