Kappa Beta Gamma - ΚΒΓ Sorority at University of Alabama Tuscaloosa - UA 1.0 I’m in a big Panhellenic sorority at Alabama but my roommate was in KBG and I’m telling you from the outside looking in do NOT join. My roommate would come home every day exhausted after arguing with nationals about large amounts of money that would disappear from their bank accounts with no explanations. She literally gave blood, sweat, and tears to this sisterhood and it was NATIONALS that gave up on THEM. Do not join them. There are plenty of other sororities that rush in the spring, or just wait to participate in formal rush as a sophomore. Literally any other sorority would be less of a headache and a heartbreak.

NEW ON GREEKRANK

Kappa Beta Gamma - ΚΒΓ Sorority at University of Alabama Tuscaloosa - UA 2.7 only attempt to join this sorority if you're okay with having to work with a nationals that will not teach you how to run a chapter and will drop surprise, extravagant charges several times a semester. expect zero support from nationals (other chapters are friendlier and willing to help). if you try to reach out to them, you are likely to never be responded to or treated rudely. when we asked for support from nationals (mostly to ask them to stop charging us money), our issues were not addressed for months. when we then wanted to close the chapter because we couldn't support ourselves, we were told that we were essentially terrible and disloyal people who didn't deserve to be a part of the group. at least the sisterhood was nice. this sorority is fine at other schools, but probably not worth it to join at alabama unless you've got nerves of steel.

Some of the girls gave up on the chapter so they are back to try to bring in some more dedicated members. All the negative reviews are from the previous members who gave up on recruiting new members to keep the group going. It’s nice to see something that isn’t so expensive as an option to people who can’t afford big sororities. Each one I’ve met or seen has been very positive about their sorority and love their sisterhood.

Don’t be fooled, they won’t last here. Their nationals has had to shut many of KBG’s other chapters in the previous years. Coming to Bama, a place that loves tradion, in such a disrespectful fashion has cast a shadow on this “sorority.” Not a quality groul here at Bama.
