"Not a bitter former sister" A bad apple is a bad apple. Let's go biblical on this: Eve tempted Adam with the apple. If the apple wasn't available, Adam wouldn't have been tempted. Get rid of the bad apples, get rid of the temptation. ADX isn't meant to be a bunch of party girls. They'll recruit new girls, they'll build back up and are doing so. Trying to justify the fact 10 of y'all left and "they're so hurt!!!" as a result is a false equivalency. Life goes on, and you ought learn to celebrate the victories of even those who "hurt" you.

Dang. Reading the slay for Jesus reply and understanding why your members left in the first place. I’m sure everyone is actually better off now. The ex members aren’t subjected to a hateful ‘ sisterhood’ of constant judgement and put downs and the currents can totally celebrate losing ‘bad apples’ (read: other humans as well as SISTERS) as they keep their close minded self righteous members company from their high horses.

So...exactly how it should be? ADX is meant to be a clean-cut bunch. The national organization wants y'all to be a well-behaved crew that pushes each other to act like better women. When you get filled with negative people who blatantly violate these rules and flaunt it, it's time to "clean house." If the negative people felt judged, sorry, that's the nature of the sorority. You're sinners before an angry God, and if the fear of hell won't make you behave, perhaps a little internal pressure might. If you can't handle the heat, get out of the kitchen, and don't screw a guy to get access to a homecoming float.

I'm sad for the members who are desperately trying to explain that their leadership is turning things around, when in fact their leadership is contributing to them being even more under the radar than they previously were. I guess their thought process is that being unknown is better than all the scandals they have faced. The fact of the matter is they have lost a large percentage of women this semester which was a hard hit due to their already small size. I do not think they will last much longer on this campus. I'm sorry to see them go but at the same time I view this organization as one that discriminates based off of religious beliefs, which I do not think should be part of any greek organization.

That darty looked so lit!! Love me a good ole capri sun. And damn it looked like there were almost 20 people there!! I loved how all of the guys and girls were segregated as well! I am super jealous that my frat doesn’t throw freakin awesome darties like that!! ADX is killing it

If you’re looking at ADX because you want to be in a sorority where you don’t feel pressured to party and want to focus on Christ, PLEASE just do formal rush! Join one of the other sororities and find your group within the house. I promise there will be girls who want the same things as you in the big sororitys. The real sororities have so much to offer that you’d be missing out on with Adx.

I am an ex member that has experienced many things in the sorority. I know that there is good and bad, but the sorority is improving.

I know a couple girls in this sorority and they all talk about how much they dislike it and its just full of drama. Most of the girls I personally know are decent and work hard in school, the others are nice but seem a little fake and PUSH christianity to the point where its just sad for them.

I was a member until just recently and there is no hope for my old organization. I loved them as a new member but everything fell apart when I found out all the viciousness that lies in these girls’ heart. They truly do use the bible as a weapon and it hurts especially when you originally loved the organization. Leaving was so hard but I couldn’t stay in such a toxic environment. They do not care about bettering themself at all either which was so hard to deal with. Since I have left even girls I thought cared about me ignore me and act weird towards me. Forever wish I had found a home in a different organization.

How can you not trust someone whose name on here is “Slay for Jesus” like I’m actually laughing. To be honest no matter how much ADX thinks they’re improving, they’re not. They honestly had so much potential four years ago but they’ve just spiraled downwards. They should probably be more wary of who they let into the organization, since they seem to accept pretty much everyone who wants to join. They have had so many scandals and I would be ashamed to wear their letters around campus. Also celebrating the fact your bad apples went early alum is a mistake because it has not made your organization any better than before! Good luck.
