They overcame the odds against them, and have made a great name for themselves. Sigma Kappa is considered top tier at big schools like Arizona, Auburn, FSU, UF and even in schools up north. I predict that in a year or two, SK will be top tier at Alabama!

This sorority did an amazing job integrating into Alabama’s Greek life. They overcame the odds against them, and have made a great name for themselves. Tough time starting out on campus, I won't lie. They definitely took some girls they shouldn't for the purpose of having good numbers but they're honestly doing a really good job. Some of the girls are gorgeous and party animals who didn’t want to be in other sororities because they’re so bad ass or too strict, however you also get a mix of nerdy big girls who you would assume belonged in Theta or not in Greek life at all. They don’t represent Alabama Greek life, however they’re doing a killer job making a name for themselves and getting involved on campus. Get to know the good ones!!!! 💜

Honestly ignore all the self posting and hate on this page. The truth about Sigma Kappa is it’s a melting pot. Some of the girls are gorgeous and party animals who didn’t want to be in other sororities because they’re so bad ass or too strict, however you also get a mix of nerdy big girls who you would assume belonged in Theta or not in Greek life at all. Sigma Kappa - ΣΚ Sorority at University of Alabama Tuscaloosa - UA 4.4 I don't think many people understand how difficult it is to start a new organization on campus, let alone a whole new sorority chapter. I think people should cut these girls some slack and get to know them before passing judgement. They have one of the strongest sisterhoods I've seen on campus and are some of the sweetest girls, which is really refreshing to see. Big things are coming their way!
