Sigma Kappa - ΣΚ Sorority Ratings at UA

SK just came off of another great rush recruiting a ton of adorable friendly girls. They are getting a new sorority house next year which will make them even more attractive to women rushing, who also want a big house/Greek experience. I highly recommend SK at Alabama.

from a nongreek affiliate, i fcking love SK. sure they arent the biggest on campus, but those girls are the kindest people ive ever met and damn fun to party with. love yall<3

My friend roomed with an SK and had to buy a container for her food that had a lock because the SK was eating all of her food. The girl then proceeded to break the lock and eat her food, she also went into my friends room and stole not just her alcohol but her kitchen appliances too. This girl had a terrible GPA, walked around half naked, and cussed/ yelled at my friend all the time. Moral of the story many people have had run ins with girls like this that are in SK.

To be completely fair there are a few girls who are so kind and have beautiful souls, but the majority of the girls I have met are just plain mean, and had to go SK because they ruined their reputation so much with other houses by being bullies.

My best friend was a Sigma Kappa so I was around them a lot. Every SK I have ever met has been super kind but the thing I noticed most is they are all so funny and kept me laughing for hours. I think this may be the funniest sorority girls on campus with AOPI in second. The girls I met were all super pretty but I know that the last two pledge classes have received more classy/beautiful girls than the years before. Most girls are northern but there are a good mix of southern as well. The only negative thing would be the size of their current house if you are someone that wants the giant superficial sorority house, but the swing house has made the girls closer than other houses in my opinion. I have been hearing rumors that they will be building their house either this year or early next year which is exciting. Overall I think these girls are less fake, less chaotic, and more fun then the other houses. Good luck, and have fun!

I am naturally a super shy person so I was not sure if I wanted to do Greek life at all. I received a bid from SK and I’m so glad I accepted it. I have felt very loved and accepted here regardless of my quirks. SK is super diverse and it’s easy to find friends with common interests here. Even if I’m not best friends with some of the people here, they still are nice to me. I have meet some of my best friends in SK. I am amazed at how the chapter has developed so much in only four years of being reestablished. I’ve struggled so much with my mental health throughout this year and the leaders have been supportive of me and provided me mental health resources. Sorry for the sort of self rank but I think it’s really important hear about people’s positive experiences

Is a good sorority. Has potential just needs a bigger house and they’ll be taking other sororities by surprise.

Haven’t met a girl who wasn’t nice to me. Just got on campus 2018 but seems like they are going well. Building a new house next year too

Great group of girls. Any that I have met are super nice. They get bashed a lot for ??being new?? Not sure why. They came on campus on 2018 and are currently in the swing house. Diverse and good sisterhood. PC '21 was super cute!
