Most kds I know are super judgmental and only care about how much money you have. Just warning to other pnms

Kappa Delta - ΚΔ Sorority at University of Alabama Tuscaloosa - UA 1.7 I had about 3 of my best friends go kd last year. I feel so bad for them. You will never fit in if you aren’t the top girl in the friend group. It’s sad to watch them compete. They make friend groups before rush starts which leads to major cliques.

Kappa Delta - ΚΔ Sorority at University of Alabama Tuscaloosa - UA 1.9 So I’m in another Kappa Delta chapter at another university, and I’m sorry for the hate, but I think it’s absolutely tacky that KD at UA wears the shirt with the girl with a bikini on during workshop week and philanthropy round during rush. Makes all KD chapters nationally look trashy and puts a bad name on Kappa Delta overall. Do a better job please ladies.

Kappa Delta - ΚΔ Sorority at University of Alabama Tuscaloosa - UA 2.4 I’m going to be completely honest from experiences I’ve heard from this house. PNMs, beware. They put on a great rush and make it seem like they want you so bad and you’ll think you would love it, but this is rarely the case. There are a select 20 girls (maybe) per PC that thrive and are at the top of their pc. for the majority of girls, no one will give a d amn about you once you’re in. I know girls in this house scared to go to the events because the girls are so closed off to making new friends. Unless you already have grown up with girls going KD and expect to be at the top, you’ll be neglected and want to drop. this isn’t even a hate post, I just know so many girls/have heard of so many girls regretting joining this sorority. Please don’t be fooled during rush!!

Kappa Delta - ΚΔ Sorority at University of Alabama Tuscaloosa - UA 3.0 Pretty much all Alabama girls or southern girls with old money. They don't seem to care too much about looks when picking pnms, but definitely have a lot of gorgeous girls. They all dress cool and rich (idk if that makes sense but that's the only way I can think to describe it) It seems like they all have Golden Goose sneakers. They are not involved in pretty much anything other than partying.

I have been brutally honest about the reputation of the girls at that time. I can say we were 80% Blonde, 98% Southern born, 75% Attractive, 100% Wealthy A top 3 rated house for popularity and almost ever girl dated ONLY "Old Row" fraternity boys (i.e KA, Delts, SAE) We hosted the most notorious and most anticipated sorority party of the year, Black Widow Blast KDs Halloween Costume Party. Not known especially for academia or grace but more for prestigious pedigree and elite status on campus. What I can also say is my pledge class was super supportive, fun, and it was some of the best memories of my life.
