What kind of sorority has members of the executive council meet with a pnm at a party, tell her they think she is a good fit, tell her that if she doesn't come back for preference party that it won't be because of their actions and then cuts her for preference? Alpha Phi that's who. That's low girls.

Congratultions on taking a pledge class of 143 beautiful, classy aspiring young women! Envy the Ivy ladies! It's unfortunate that a PNM that was cut is so bitter she feels the need to lash out on social media. I hope she had found a home someplace.

Newspapers around the world tell you everything you need to know about the Alpha Phis at U of A. So very glad I don't have to explain that to my parents. Thank you Alpha Phi for cutting me! Not bitter at all. It is not slamming if you are simply stating the facts and your opinion of the facts. Yes, I did pledge a house. I had a great rush, with the exception of Alpha Phi. I met the most amazing women of integrity at different houses. It was hard to narrow my choices down, but I am pleased to say that I am pledged to the sorority that was my number one choice all along!

Your top choice obviously was Alpha Phi, until they told you that you weren't their top choice. I understand how your feelings were hurt, but to post on social media is very sophomoric. Congrats on getting a house, woman always end up in the right place in the end.

Sorry to hear about the PNM that was cut after very strong indication she would be going to acceptance. Here is what most people don't know about the process. A sorority must rank their list and if another house ranks her higher, the other sorority can loose her. It then appears the sorority alone cut her, but may not be the case. It is how the system tries to even the playing field. The submitted rank order becomes a crap shoot and each sorority can't rank every girl number one.

I'm happy you got your first choice and that you are happy with it! Congratulations! But I'm also curious as to why you felt the need to make this post?

I'm sorry that happened to you but you won't understand until you go through recruitment on the other side yourself. It is 1000% possible for a chapter to love you and not get you back- chapters are not completely in control of who comes back to their parties. It happened to me when I went through recruitment which at first devastated me but in the end it brought me to the house I am in and love today (which is Alpha Phi) and I can tell you having done recruitment as a member, it has absolutely happened to us that we have been completely enamored with a PNM and were devastated when she didn't appear on lists for the next rounds! I am happy you have pledged a house that you are excited about.

These girls are not smart. Cut most people who don't look like them (predominantly skinny blondes) talked to a few at I e water teas and they could not hold a conversation! I asked about their sisterhood and what they liked about being in A Phi and I received a very short answer followed by "oh I like your fingernail polish by the way, what color is that".... Aren't we supposed to be talking about the sorority?!

How interesting that in order to manipulate girls into forgetting that they have the lowest grades which are, by the way, below the average for the WHOLE UNIVERSITY (including all the gdi slackers who drop out), they have to make a lingerie video and feature a football player. Is he an Alpha Phi? No. Does he hang out at Alpha Phi? No. Did they have to pay him a lot? Hush! This video makes me embarrassed about our greeks and think that by next year we're going to have some really strict guideline

Lowest GPA on campus. These girls are so disgusting. Don't get me wrong - they are nice but that's why they are so easy! I'm currently rushing and while I was at ice water and tea's, the girls somehow managed to start talking about parties and the hot frat guys on campus.. Aren't we supposed to steer away from that? I'm more interested in hearing about your study hours and philanthropy.
