They don’t have a type and they aren’t able to make this work for them. I’ve met some normal, sweet, pretty AOPis, and then strange and strange looking AOPis. Generally don’t rush well, but the members are usually at least incredibly nice. Their new house looks like it will be amazing.

Pretty irrelevant. Much better choices that cross rush with them.

these girls aren't bad. where they struggle is finding an image. While it is nice to have a diverse group of girls, it does kind of hurt them. this is why they don't really have a reputation... they're just kind of... vanilla? This also means that no one really LOVES them or HATES them. Id say out of all the bottom tier houses, this might be the best one, because you cant really go wrong. They dont have a bad rep, they're just not top. There are also some really pretty and involved girls.

dont understand the aopi hate, not a top tier house but there are a lot of worse houses to be in... has lots of swaps, lots of awards, great sisterhood, all types of girls, inclusive, in the machine, smart, and involved?

The last several posts are all self rank. The truth is they are very irrelevant. You can put lipstick on a pig and it’s still a pig! A good choice if that’s all you have. Otherwise, move on! There are much better options in “bottom tier”.

I recently graduated from the University of Alabama. As a sophomore, I decided to rush. I felt this gave me an advantage since I had a feel for all the sororities and made friends with girls in majority of them. I knew alot about reputations in sororities more so being a GDI than anything but I kept an open mind during rush. I had a lot of options but for me I knew that joining AOII wasn't about the letters like most sororities, it was about the women in the sorority. the girls that I have met here were authentic. The girls who were nice to me during rush were still nice to me throughout my time there. I wasn't hotboxed and had genuine conversations. I knew going into the house during rush that I felt at home. The people here claiming they are in this sorority leaving terrible marks obviously aren't AOIIs. Most of the bad comments you see here are catty sorority women who are insecure about a new house. Most girls in AOII love AOII. We have one of the lowest drop rates and we never spring rush because girls stay in our sorority. We have a pretty good GPA compared to alot of other houses and we are involved in different way. There are girls who go out every night and girls who don't go out. Its a good balance The girls I met my freshman year who were in sororities all dropped.
