Alpha Kappa Alpha - ΑΚΑ Sorority at University of Alabama Tuscaloosa - UA 4.4 First of all this is a great sorority, the members are always involved with the community. Don't speak on what you don't know. Second, they do accept white people, or someone of any race other than African American. The chapter chooses members with high gpa's, many hours of community service, and someone who exemplifies a leader & carried herself with class. Also no one is stuck up. They are regular people. Actually get to know them instead of defining them by their letters.

Alpha Kappa Alpha - ΑΚΑ Sorority at University of Alabama Tuscaloosa - UA 3.0 I find it interesting that I'm half black and half Hispanic and that if I wanted to pledge AKA I don't think I would be able to. Instead I have to pledge an NPC sorority. Kinda unfair

Alpha Kappa Alpha - ΑΚΑ Sorority at University of Alabama Tuscaloosa - UA 4.2 Coming to UA as a freshman, Theta Sigma immediately caught my eye. They uphold many standards that represent having a heart to serve, being classy, representing Alpha Kappa Alpha's characteristic of being well dressed and presented as a whole, and their bond of sisterhood is beautiful in my eyes. Although TS is known for being stuck up, (which some of them are) all of the positive aspects of the members outweigh any of the bad. Many of us strive to turn out like the Alpha women of Theta Sigma.
