Sigma Alpha Mu - ΣΑΜ Fraternity at University of Alabama Tuscaloosa - UA 4.7 Honestly I think they are one of the best frats on campus and even tho they are a smaller frat they really do try to make the best of everything. i have always felt safe at the sammy house and they have ALWAYS been kind guys. i wish more frats followed this code.

Sigma Alpha Mu - ΣΑΜ Fraternity at University of Alabama Tuscaloosa - UA 5.0 This is the best fraternity by far. Their brotherhood is like something I’ve never seen before. They have a bond with each other that’s so trustworthy. They are very social individuals and love to always have a good time. They will always have their brothers back and they stand by that. 11/10 fraternity

Sigma Alpha Mu - ΣΑΜ Fraternity at University of Alabama Tuscaloosa - UA 3.4 Sam was an overall good experience. I understand where some of the hate comes from. There were maybe 3-4 creepers and a couple weirdos throughout the years who were responsible for the majority of the reputation damage. But a lot of effort to prevent this has been undertaken lately especially with the new house. A lot of the criticism with regards to women are probably because we had a fair amount of socially awkward but great guys. A lot of the guys did date zetas, axo’s, thetas, chi o’s and then there were others who were hopeless so it ultimately depends on yourself with girls especially since you can’t rely on the reputation of the fraternity to help you. The guys are super smart (held number 1 gpa for a while) and crazy party animals. Some of the parties were bad with minimal girls but others were complete ragers. So yea highs and lows. Sam works very hard to repair their reputation from the small minority who messed it up and is very involved on campus. The progress we made since I joined was insane. This is a young chapter so it makes sense to take some heat from the old row Greek life.
