sorority rankings fall 2015

In an effort to distinguish how things are moving (and because we can't lump together so many houses into one clear tier, here is my view on this (just the tiers b/c it then comes down to individual preference):

Top:
DG/APhi/Theta/Kappa

Upper:
Tridelt/SDT

Middle:
Pi phi
AePhi

Lower Middle:
KD/PSS

Bottom:
AXO/AZD/PhiMu

I honestly like how this is laid out. The teirs that got broken up were too different to really be solid tiers anymore

In terms of mixers I think this gives a good idea of the houses that mix somewhat similarly/the level of frat relations at this point.

^^^I think this person ("No") is missing the point. But anyway, I think this is a blend of general reputation (Phi Mu is new so they aren't established as much as other houses) and what houses mix frequently with each other.

I would put pi phi with upper, moved aephi down to lower middle with KD, and lump PSS in bottom with axo and azd.

Although I agree with the order 100%, it is really unfair to group AXO with AZD and PM. They belong with KD/PSS. KD for your preps, Alpha Chi for your girly girls (FSAD majors), Phi Sigfor your party girls/hipsters (yes I call Phi Sig and Alpha Chi what they like to be called. No that does not mean I'm in those houses I'm just respectful).

Honestly AEPhi's mixer schedule belongs with KD/PSS, and put Pi Phi with DDD and SDT.

Pi phi is slipping, but they're still in a different tier than aephi. their mixer schedule is more DDD/SDT level whereas aephi is very similar to kd and pss (in mixing, not personality).

Alpha Chi and Alpha Xi have drastically different schedules, and every frat would pick AXO over AZD. So yeah they're not in the same tier.

You call alpha chi what they want but not alpha xi? Somebody has a chip on their shoulder. AXiD is just a good as Alpha Chi and Phi Sig. Stop feeding into the hate. Phi Mu is just new. soon everyone will be equally as wonderful.

First off - I agree with the original setup of the ranking.

AXO is where it should be - the house burned a ton of bridges with different fraternities and have pretty limited options. They don't have a full mixer schedule on the weekends either.

And on that note, AZD/Alpha Xi has the same problem, except that it's not the bridges they burned, it's that most frats just flat out refuse to mix with them.
