fall recruitment

Just wondering, how does this work? Will all sororities recruit and are there stigmas? I'll be out of the country during this rush week so I'm waiting until next year but would rather not wait for spring. Thanks!

I'm not rushing this year either, but if I'm social and pretty will I still have a shot at core four next fall/spring? Or is there anything I can do to get in?

You still have a chance (lesser, but whatever) if you rush sophomore year in the spring. However, not all sororities recruit during the fall. I know that dg did informal rush right after spring rush two PCs ago, but that's the only core four in recent years that did so. And thats bc they were under quota. PSS, PM and AZD recruit in the fall. All I can say is is that you will probably be cut from alpha phi.
