Finance Club Rankings

I saw a really inaccurate finance club ranking that was created by a bot and holds no weight to what the actual finance reps are, so here’s a real one:

1. CFA (great community culture, everyone seems to be super close, probably the tightest with their alumni, and have the best NME and sophomore series process that’s the most rigorous, people here have been taking the cake for pitch comps nationally, placement insane, they do got a big ego on them so don’t be surprise coming in as no one taught them how to be normal but they still top can’t lie)

2. CFC (have recently started doing better, have great alumni connections and do alumni pairings which no other clubs seems to do and they use it to their advantage, has the closest club culture, and seems to be leveling up might soon be above CFA as they been taking a better class each year, also known for having a few bots like questionable EBoard .)

3. CIBC (sweats, a lot of talk and don’t really do much, they are only top three because they previously had the best placement, but despite this have an incredible alumni relation, probably the 3rd best following BlackGen and CFA as their alumni stay involved, very greeklife heavy, a few really cracked fellas here though.)

4. BlackGen ( diversity club for minorities, but has some of the best placement, alumni are super involved probably the most involved right after CFA, have the best pipeline out of other clubs to get accelerated offers because of diversity recruitment, the reason they are lower than CIBC is because BlackGen is split into those who grind and people who just don’t give a damn about finance and ruin their rep but with new leadership it seems to be changing and more greeklife heavy)

5. CAI (this club bothers me as it should be one of the top clubs, but since the founder left it’s been slowly sinking. They had the toughest educators - one going to MS and other Evercore both known to be super cracked and they also give you internships during your time at the club with Horatius IB firm being one, but I have yet to hear anything come out of it. This club is not serious because they have it run by lazy people. The president doesn’t do anything and is abroad, the other one is tough but doesn’t seem to care. In better hands, 100% top 2.)

6. CHF (When I tell you I have never seen a more bot finance club that’s still relevant, it’s scary. They are only high because they do a good job of having members understand how to pitch, but their recruitment process makes no sense, everyone there is actual a bot all the weird engineering kids who want to get into finance, also they have alright placement but since their previous seniors left, it seems like no one can get an offer, they always talk about having a great club culture, but it seems like everyone is awkward with each other.)

6. MICC ( not a real club, just a Greek life convention, go there if you want to learn nothing and do nothing with your life - just love saying finance buzzwords, everyone in MICC ends up hating it because everyone doesn’t know what they are talking about half the time. The new Presidents couldn’t even walk you through a DCF if you paid them, but goes to show where Greek life status can bring you. Just know not a real club, but respect the efforts) just put them on the list because it’s funny.

Anything not on this list is probably going to make their recruitment seem hard, but is a waste of time because you won’t gain anything from it and won’t help you learn.
