What to wear for rush?

Do I just pull up in shorts and a t shirt or do I go full preppy w the lacoste shirt and khakis

You need a suit/blazer to go to open houses. Rest is casual

Dress in something that you think looks good. Don't do any geek stuff like a suit but a nice pair of shorts and a shirt.

This isn't an SEC school do not do a polo and khakis u will look kinda weird.
