SAE vs Llenroc vs SigPi

by:

Survived first contacts at all three, but which is the best bet to focus on? At this point I'm assuming I have to go all in on one of them, so which one should I prioritize?

I like SAE.
Here come the bullies in 3...2...1...

OP: You should think about what you’re looking for in a frat. Just one example, SAE and Llenroc are two different houses: SAE at full size is a huge brotherhood and they want to throw down hard, Llenroc at full size is smaller and more chill. Pros and cons to both setups, depending on who you are and what you like. You could have a good few years in either, but they will be different experiences.

Can be summed down to bigways vs formals

I would prioritize in this order:

SigPi
Lenroc
SAE

SigPi the safest bet, also the hardest of the three to get a bid at right now.

Llenroc very strong historically. Decent bet that they’ll go back to where they were, but still a bet.

SAE making waves and talking a big game. Lots of baggage though. Want a huge pledge class so the numbers game is easier than the other two.

There’s also a vibes difference. SAE is rowdier than the other two and wants to build into a much larger brotherhood than the other two. Smaller brotherhoods are tighter. But some kids like a bigger brotherhood for name recognition etc.

SAE’s priorities also might result in them being the next house kicked off.

Why would they get kicked off, are they still doing reverse hazing?

Aulden Hey, that name alone is why they might get kicked out

You could be happy at any one of the three. They are three pretty different frats so kind of interesting that they’ve cross-rushed you

Sigpi
Sae
Lenroc

I put Lenroc last because they just don't have the right connections to bring mixing back (if that's what you want). Not bad at all, just depends what your looking for

Sigma Pi > Sigma Alpha Epsilon > Delta Phi

The fact that Lenroc and SAE are even in a discussion with Sig Pi means they’re having decent rebuilds. For clout I’d go with SigPi but honestly you should go with the best fit.

Sig Pi and drop the rest, unless you need a safety

Here's the situation, Sigma Pi is an upper tier house that fluctuates between #5 and #7 on the rankings. They mix well with APhi, Theta, SDT, and AZD and have a cool patio (the beach). Great rep over the years and some really successful alumni. All things considered, this has to be your top choice.

SAE used to be top tier (what AD or Sig Chi are now). They got kicked off for the awful death of one of their sophomores, but that was in 2011, so it's a different group of guys now. They're spending a ton of money lately, but considering they have multiple billionaire alumni that are active in the rebuild, they'll be able to keep this up. They're also trying to take a big PC (~40 dudes in the frat currently), so they're shooting for 60+ total guys after this rush. This is a good option if you want a big party frat experience. They've also mixed in big ways with upper mid and top sororities, so relations look promising when 1-on-1s start.

Llenroc used to be upper tier (where DX is now) until they got caught for some really bad hazing. I would hope they've changed their pledging, but who knows. The house is pretty cool, definitely up there with Chi Psi and AD. I don't believe they've mixed yet, so this is clearly a huge disadvantage to Sigma Pi and SAE. Mixing will depend mostly on this current pledge class and what sorority girls they're friends with. I've heard their alumni are similar to SAE's, but they prefer formals over big ways. Either way, this is a good option, but a step below SAE given the mixing uncertainty.

SAE has done a great job putting out there that they’re a wealthy frat with tons of alumni money. But the fact is they once owned Hillcrest, ran out of money, and were forced to sell it to Cornell. That’s the opposite of being a wealthy frat.

Sig Pi and Llenroc own their houses.

Most would probably put sig pi ahead of sae atp, but sig pi is dropping and sae is skyrocketing, so take that as u will.

By: idk

I don’t know if SPi is dropping, but correct that SAE is skyrocketing. Same with Llenroc.
