PSA to PNMs: Ranks are BS and for Insecure People
by: whyPSA to PNMs: no one besides Greekrank incels care about ranks irl. People in "top-ranked" houses are friends with people in "low-ranked" houses (and vice-versa), and no one is suddenly gonna stop hanging out with you just because you're in a certain sorority/fraternity. In fact, it's very evident when freshman/sophomores are social climbers and only follow/befriend ppl in "top" frats/srats. It's embarrassing and people talk about it in a bad way. Different houses have different characteristics: wealthy, sporty, academic, artsy, wild partiers, etc. but it doesn't make one better than the other. Join a house where you feel comfortable, at-home, and yourself. If that's in DG, great. If that's in Tridelt, great. But stop perpetuating childish and meaningless ranks to try and demean other people at this school, bc it's only reflective of your own bias (your elitism, classism, and racism) and your own insecurity/dependance on social titles for confidence.

A lot of the reputations spread on GR aren’t even real or they’re beyond outdated and totally inaccurate. Go see for yourself. Hang out with people and see who you vibe with. Don't listen to toxic rankings or be swayed by what you think is clout. After rush, no one really cares. Then you’re stuck
