Frat Pledging duration

how long is the pledging process for these houses: Sig Phi, AD, Sig Chi? i don't really care about the "difficulty" and all that just wondering how long it lasts.

i've heard ad goes for about 7-8 weeks, sig chi for 6-7 weeks, and sig phi for 5 weeks but these were all through rumors. are these accurate?

Sounds about right. I think sig phi is probably more than 5 weeks. But you should probably care a bit more about the difficulty. Sig chi or ad pledging is no joke and for a lot of the kids who go through it is the hardest thing they’ve ever had to do

AD will lock you in a coffin for 2 days. That’s worse than anything, regardless of duration of pledging.

I'm a PNM and curious about this. Is it 4 weeks for most houses, and longer for a handful? Or is it longer for most houses, and 4 weeks for a handful?

Also, if it's more than 4 weeks for AD, Sig Chi, etc., how do these houses avoid getting in trouble with the university?

I’m rushing the houses that people are saying pledge more than 4 weeks. If my pledge period goes a day longer than that I’ll be informing OSFL and Student Life. Am friends with a bunch of other PNMs who say the same thing.
