sig chi/ad rush
by: YaAs a sophomore thinking about rushing this spring, are there realistically no more opportunities for me to rush Sig Chi/AD given the recent events?

I assume they probably would already have a list of people in mind for this underground PC, right?

Yeah, they already have the list. The problem for them is that all the kids on the list are gonna rush other houses, and then only go underground to Sig Chi or AD if they don’t get a bid from a good house.

From a girls perspective, joining a frat when they’re in trouble is always a pretty bad idea historically at Cornell. Just look at psi U, DX, etc. Any small issues during these time frames can lead to a disbanding of a fraternity, or lead to no more partying for years, or just make a frat completely fall off (dx)

Sig Chi already has probation from nationals so if they did get kicked off they would lose nationals membership probably. What’s the point of joining a house if you become a geed before initiation?

Same goes with Chi Psi, not sure if they can take a PC or not, but they're on So Pro for the rest of the year so they can't have any parties or other social events.
