announcement: informal recruitment

Your rho gammas aren’t gonna tell you this info, but listen up.
If you’re going through sorority recruitment and get demolished the first round, you should probably drop. The reason I’m saying this is informal recruitment has regulations in a lot of sororities that they cannot give girls bids after they already cut them from recruitment for at least a semester (I don’t know how long it applies but at least a semester).
I don’t know how long this rules applies, but if you’re a sophomore, you don’t have much time left, so you’re better off dropping then looking into COB. If you stick it out for too long and get really cut, sororities literally cannot give you a bid from their house at least for that semester.

Gonna say at least for my house and a couple other i know if this wasn’t true that it has to be that way. A lot of the time there are too many people interested in COB and they need a parameter to cut down, and they will look back on formal recruitment/ reccs from current members to pick who gets contacted; honestly just don’t be rude anywhere and even if you don’t vibe w the girls you talk to but have a genuine conversation, chances are if you try to COB you can.
