rush wardrobe??
by: KDWhat should we wear during rush week and are we supposed to wear the special rush tshirts at first or it is that optional?

I don’t think you’re required to wear those shirts. It wasn’t required when I rushed last spring (unless they changed it or something). Dress in nice clothes (the best u can) but nothing like professional wear. Like a collard shirt or polo (Not buttoned fully), clean sneakers or sperrys, jeans/khakis. I’ve seen kids dress more casually or more professionally. No one really cares (ur rushing a frat, not a sorority). Just make urself look presentable/clean, that’s all. I’d recommend getting a haircut too. Hope that helps.

Its kind of unusual to both get dropped and also not get a snap bid, but I know a LOT of people last year (and I mean more than half of the people who I knew while rushing) who either weren't happy with their final round picks and dropped, or got their bid and dropped. If you want to be in a sorority, phi mu needs the numbers and basically takes everyone, but other than that its perfectly possible to not end up with a bid in the end. the RGs make it seem super uncommon, probably to keep stress levels down, but last year I personally knew like three people out of the not super big group I knew rushing who got dropped, two of whom got a snap bid which only one of them took.
