should i bother rushing a sorority as a non-white person?
by: notwhitelolnot white but kind of want to rush. I know it's notoriously pretty white girls and I do not fit that description. the only thing I really have going for me is that my family income is decent and I can hold a conversation pretty well. should I even bother rushing?

you def should!! I know it may seem intimidating, as I was in the same boat as you, but I think this fear is why poc don’t rlly rush as much in comparison to white people, but just be completely authentic and yourself and you’ll end up exactly where you’re supposed to be. Some sororities are definitely more diverse than others but don’t let that scare you. Honestly just pick the sorority you feel most comfortable and vibe the most with. Personally I never experienced any negativity throughout rush (ik everyone’s experience is different tho) and I couldn’t be happier with where I ended up. wishing you the best of luck if you do decide to rush <333
