what’s with the double standard?

because they tend to not kill/incapacitate their pledges .... They literally just dance/preform ritual stuff as a performance. The culture between ifc/phc greeklife and multicultural greek life is extremely different and crying double standards because they’re lowkey and don’t create issues is useless and proves 0 point (especially since you obviously know nothing of it), like actually lol

BOI everybody knows what goes on in MGFC hazing is arguably worse and if u dont kno that ur actually dumb

Actually if you go to the Cornell hazing website it's mostly MGFC fraternities that have actually gotten in serious trouble for hazing sooo.... either you're right but they're actually getting held accountable for it or they're doing the same that rich IFC frats do but actually having to pay for it

While multicultural frats have gotten in serious trouble for some incidents, the standards for which they are held are much different. I think people recognize the fact that traditional Greek life causes more issues, but the fact of the matter is, while they can have pledge class reveals with pledges singing and dancing, if one of the traditional fraternity did that. 1. It would be considered hazing to make them meet at Ho plaza, even if they were doing nothing. 2. They are required to perform songs and dance for other brothers and organizations. Requiring anything is hazing for Ifc fraternities. Disproportionate amounts of cleaning is considered hazing and they are required to memorize a whole routine/performance that only the pledges are required to perform and they are allowed to do all that on Ho plaza. I understand the significance for those organizations but it just seems the rules for traditional organizations are 100 times more strict

Sounds a lot like you’re trying to justify the hypocrisy and double standard. It’s the same thing entirely because no pledge was killed of recent.
