sorority/frat house locations
by: Freshmanwhich houses have the best locations on campus? most people live in the house their sophomore year so should location be something to consider when going through recruitment? not really trying to trudge through like 1 mile of snow to class everyday

It kind of depends. You don't HAVE to live in the house but it helps if you didn't make friends your first semester when you were initiated.
You also have to remember there's a bus system so even if the location is annoying if you figure out the bus system you're golden.

judging the physical house of each frat/sorority really depends on the person. some people don’t care what the actual house looks like inside and how far of a walk to central it is, while to others it mattered a great deal. while going through rush keep the walk in mind, but don’t let that be your only factor because finding a brother/sisterhood that suits you matters much more than taking a few extra minutes to get to class every day.
