how do sororitys choose ppl

I was at hoco and met a bunch of pretty and super down to earth sophomore girls at parties and none of them are in sororitys, which was really surprising. I’m rushing winter and I’m wondering how do sororitys choose ppl?

maybe they just didn't have time to do greek life and decided to go independent, i know girls like that. others gunned for a certain sorority, and when they didn't get it, instead of joining the one they did get, decided they'd rush again in the next spring. these are the two most common reasons.

No but you should only rerush once. Getting into core four is tough as a sophomore but doable. Idk tho I’m not in core four lol

recruitment chairs really look down on re-rushing bc its like why did they not join in the first place? can be taken as social climby / joining for the wrong reasons
