I wouldn't worry about it. There's people who only had 4 houses back after the first day, and ended up in a great house. There's also people who had the whole core four back and ended up in a lower mid house. I had 6 houses after the first day, and worried that it was "too low", but then all those houses kept me when others were getting dropped in future days. so it's okay. rush is brutal for everyone except 1% of people. and while there's a "common" rush experience it doesn't mean any other experience is bad.

Most people I know got about 6/7 houses after the first round but a fair amount get 8/9 too. I wouldn’t worry to much, everyone ends up in the house they were meant to be in, just be yourself during rush

Thx would u say that just about everyone gets a house then if they stay in to the end of rush? Hearing conflicting info about this.

A lot of people chose to drop out because they are cut by the core four or they don’t want to be in a “lower” house. While you're not guaranteed a spot if you stay to the end, you’re likely to get into a house, but it may be mid/lower tier. Honestly most of the mid tier and even some of the lower houses have a better sisterhood than upper tiers as it’s much less cutthroat and a lot of the girls choose to be there despite stereotypes and want to be there for each other. Every house is different and fits different people, stick through rush and see where you end up. I would say all of the houses, even Phi Mu, have decent social calendars, the only difference being how high frats are ranked but honestly you’ll find nice guys and douche guys in every frat.

I got 5 back. I was kind of confused to be honest I expected 8 given how the conversations went. It didn’t really matter. I was upset at the time but ended up in a great house

i had a full schedule but had a really hard time during all of rush and my best friend only had 4 or 5 and ended up in her top choice house. it feels like it matters in the moment, but your #s aren’t a direct indicator of how well rush is going for you

So can girls who stay until the end of rush really still get cut from all houses or is this super rare or what?

national panhellenic has the algorithm work if you put down both houses after preference you get one of them. girls dont get a bid after preference if they "suicide bid" and only put down one house

I had a friend who had AXO and Kappa left her last round and was cut by both. She did COB and is now in a house she enjoys
