chi phi, good or bad?
by: HelpSo after the recent damage to Chi Phis reputation this past semester, they have seemed to hold on to the top of upper middle pretty solidly. Do they still deserve it? Should they be higher or lower?
#1 by: Not their fault
The past couple semesters haven’t been good for them socially. They didn’t recover very well from their SoPro stint. C4 relations are weak at this point. C4 continues to tighten down their mixing schedule (basically down to top 6 houses now, with Chi Phi being #7) because of SDT and PiPhi social climbing hard.
But nobody’s done anything to pass Chi Phi. DX is still in murky water and they were going downhill anyways. Fiji is doing okay but are still trying to recover from their eternal SoPro stint. Chi Psi’s schedule has dropped after they stopped paying top houses and still has weird older guys.

They’ll recover surely. They’ve stayed surprisingly resilient with their incoming classes despite the amount of garbage Cornell has thrown at them (but maybe that’s also due to other houses getting screwed as well). Also, they don’t self-rank whatsoever so these relations will take time.
