rerushing as a girl
by: advice?i’m currently in a sorority and have given it the month and really don’t connect with the girls and don’t like it. i’m wondering whether it’s worth it to stay in and make the best of it bc it would be harder next year? does anyone know what it’s like to rerush/ is it a bad idea? part of me feels like i should try for a house that i love and fit in rather than settling for one that i don’t

A lot of girls feel this way for some time, but there are girls in every house you will ‘vibe’ with, you just have to find them. If your friends are in houses, you are going to feel left out when they make new friends in their sororities and go out together during wet week. And also, by this time, you probably have a big (if not revealed already) that spent hundreds of dollars and hours of their time trying to make you feel welcomed into the house. Some of my friends in other houses were considering dropping; they didn’t, and now they cannot imagine being in another house.
