can sororities host parties?

Not intending to cause any trouble but honestly: If sororities are allowed to throw parties, can they please start hosting them? What do sororities use their social dues for then, if they have any?

sorority social dues go to formals /date nights /sisterhood retreats etc

What sororities SHOULD donis split the costs with the hosting frats. They should provide the food at the very least. I’m in a sorority and I’ve suggested it several times- we are trying to make it work with budgets
