Yes, I’m in a mid -literally dead middle- house.
I did COB two years ago after dropping out of rush because I was so overwhelmed I couldn’t decide. I never even opened my invites on the third day, I just left.

A few days after bid day (it felt like longer) I was contacted. I was actually really surprised to see the houses that were experimenting with open bidding. I met up with some sisters in a small group of other COB people.
Not everyone gets all the way through, but I’m happy to say I did.
You have to be yourself, friendly and outgoing and really make an effort. It’s very different than rush.
Go for it.

4 I think? Maybe 5?
I’d have to look back through the emails. I can definitely say I absolutely did not expect my house and one other to be on that list. Not because of ratings or anything but because I’d heard they met their full quota.
(And they had) but they took on me and two others from the COB group.
Have you contact panhel to inquire about COB ?

yes! They said they would put me on the list and let me know which houses are doing it in a few days - a week and give me their contact information. I’m not sure if I will have to reach out to them or if they will reach it to me

Ok- it’s seems like forever waiting for that email but it will come to you. If I remember correctly I was given a list by panhel of houses who were going to look into COB and I wrote to the ones I was interested in.
I explained who I was, when and why I dropped (very briefly) and that I wanted to try the process out of the craziness of rush.
Then they were free to contact me to set something up.
That’s how it was for me anyway- not sure if they follow the same system from year to year. It felt like a super slow process but looking back it was actually really fast and I started going to events so quickly the new member class had no idea I hadn’t been there the whole time, since the groups are so big. But each day waiting felt like a month lol
