pref questions

so i didn’t get a bid after pref, and i had been left with one house so it was tough. I keep replaying it over in my head and in that house i realized i forgot to do the ceremony with the flower they gave. would that perhaps be one reason? i had to give the flower at the door, and i completely had forgotten about it at the table when i was standing up.

OP: i feel like maybe i broke some kind of tradition and that’s why i didn’t get in. can anyone speak to this?

I’m so sorry to hear that. As someone in a sorority, I can absolutely promise you that “breaking a tradition” means nothing. All pref ceremonies have silly customs we have to follow but they really don’t mean much. You should email someone on Panhellenic about COB! I hope you find your place :)

How many girls didn’t get a bid? I thought everyone in at the end usually got one?
