Hi there,
I am in a middle / top middle house (depending on who you ask on here, which I don’t -not do incare😂)
I was open bidded by my house. I am so happy I did it- I cannot imagine not being here. Sometimes people slip through cracks sleuth the oregfing system and now that I’m in a house I see how easily it can happen. It isn’t personal.
The houses will reach out to you regarding COB. To be sure you’re on a list, contact Panhel and make sure you’re name is out there.
I was contacted by 2-3 houses. I emailed them back , ended up meeting for coffee with my house. Then I was invited to get diner with a few girls, then another thing. Between each meeting was a couple days where they would go back and decide who they wanted to move on (there were many girls going through the COB process).
I ended up jumping right into my pledge class and nobody even realized I wasn’t there on bid night. I am so so happy in this house I could just cry.
I cannot believe I didn’t pref them properly earlier in the game but I was totally confused.
For me it was VERY worth it.

usually panhel sends out an email of houses doing cob to interested girls but some houses may do it low-key and u may only find out through friends in those houses

It was really hard for me watching the girls on my floor go to bid days and events with their houses. I’d say it was the few days following bid day that I first got contacted?
