getting top choice after pref?

i heard from some people that you basically get to choose what house you want to join after you get back your final two for pref. how common is it to get your second choice instead on bid day?

As a girl who’s gone through recruitment on both sides I can tell you many girls pref at houses like pi phi and end up getting their last choice like azd

Every single chapter at Cornell is wonderful. They are all filled with beautiful smart intelligent girls that have a blast and have lots of events. Take whatever bid you get. Seriously.

If you don’t get your first choice, but do get your second think about this. The house that you made your priority did not make you THEIR priority. Take a minute to learn more about the house that CHOSE to give you a spot.
