social probation inquiry

I'm a freshman who just joined sig chi, and heard that we're on social probation for the whole year. What exactly does that mean? Can we not have any parties at our house all year long? I tried talking to brothers about it during rush week but they were all being really vague. Someone please let me know. I love the house but obviously still wanna party, I heard our frat relations aren't great even though most sororities like us

To add to that, I know sororities can't host parties which is the main reason I'm worried. We have a dope ass annex to make up for it but I obviously would much rather party at the house
