weird rush experience

hey all, im a freshman and got dropped by all of my top houses. i rly want to stick it out and see where i end up but a lot of the posts on here have been incredibly nasty and catty towards some of the houses i have. thinking of dropping and wanted to know how common it is for girls to drop/ if social life will be okay without a sorority/if other girls are feeling similarly?

seriously ignore the posts on here and stick it out. I don’t know a single girl that did that and regrets it. Freshman are super easily influenced by this website but at the end of the day every house has incredible women and opportunities. I’d stick it out. Ignore the small group that runs this site

I went through a similar thing and stuck it out. I am so happy with my decision to stay because I never would’ve met some of my best friends if I decided to drop and having a set social schedule is always very nice too. The relationships I formed in this house have been genuine and authentic and I’m so thankful for them.

If any part of your decision is based on things you saw here you are making a big mistake.
The houses that are targeted on here are awesome and it’s all just silly BS. None of it’s actually true, it’s just a game we play in competition.
We didn’t realize anyone was taking it that seriously.
Please go to the houses you have left and decide for yourself.
This site shows the literal worst of what humanity has to offer at Cornell.
Nothing said on this site takes away from the very realmdisterhood they have or the things they do together.

I went through the same situation as the pnm and decided it was better to drop than not put my 100% into the houses I was sure i hadn’t one good convo or aha moment than sour any possible bid day experiences. And before you ask, I only got called back to solid middle houses. So it had nothing to do with rank.
