what thetas been trying to hide

My sister graduated from Cornell last year and told me a couple things about sororities before I rushed. Theta is a DRY HOUSE. This means that Theta is not allowed to have mixers with achohol or they risk being kicked off campus by their national chapter.
She also told me that theta girls rarely attend their mixers because they care about having the image of “not being a typical sorority girl”. But trying to obtain that image means that Theta girls miss out on typical sorority experiences like a high number of attendance at mixers, date nights, and formals.
My sister told me that if I am looking for a sorority experience where I can go on date nights and formals and these things called wine tours, I should look at houses like Alpha Phi, DG, KKG, Pi Phi and Tri Delt
Just wanted to let y’all think about this because we should know more than what rush allows
