first contacts

How do first contacts work for guys? Do most frats give out a lot of first contacts?

they'll contact about twice the amount of people that they're hoping to give bids to, someone correct me if i'm wrong

Yep I'd say about twice the amount. Basically if you're a normal person who has shown interest you will probably get a first contact. In review most frats will go pretty easy on potentials in the first round. Second round is where a lot of people will be cut.
