unfortunate truth about rush
by: ReneeThe best part about this site is that rush is so competitive now that girls probably won’t even get to choose where they end up and so whatever reputation you claim to have on greekrank won’t make a difference! Something like 200 girls dropped rush last year because they didn’t like the house they were left with on bid day because of its “reputation” on this website.

This semester the only sorority posting on here has been pi phi, either dragging other sororitys (and then claiming it was another house doing so) or doing endless posts ranking themselves higher than where they actually are. If you are going through rush just ignore gr and trust the process. Find where you are comfortable. All of them have mixers, formals, friendships, nice houses, and everything else you would expect. Dropping out because of what was on gr is just really really dumb

one of my friend groups who are girls rushed last year and dropped rush because they were first dropped by core four and did not want to be in a “bad” sorority like sdt or tri-delt or piphi. now they regret not continuing rushing because they have no friends outside their friend group.
needless to say, ignore rankings.
