is it worth it to rush?

I’m beginning to doubt whether I should go through with rushing a sorority. I just had a difficult engineering semester and that, combined with the fact that Greek life seems to be under attack nationally and especially with Pollack, and the cattiness I see between different friends I have in different frats and stats towards each other, is making Greek life seem more unattractive. Any advice?

As a girl, you can party without being in a sorority so I wouldn't really use that as a factor when deciding. If I were you, I would show up to rush to see if you fit in with any of the houses. If you don't, no big deal.
