why do some people in sorority look down on gdi

Why do some people believe that if someone is GDI it's because she got CUT from the sororities? There are plenty of physically attractive girls who did not rush bc they have a demanding majors or just not interested? If I am a brother from a top frat, I won't pick you over a GDI who is attractive just bc you are in core four.
