rushing upper/top tiers without dirty rushing?

Is it possible to get a bid at frats like DU, Sig Pi, AD, Sig Chi, and Chi Phi without having gone to any dirty rush events?

After their sopro stint, they’re straddling “upper middle” at best. Two of their big parties this semester were quite poorly attended

gonna be pretty honest with you, probably not at Sig Chi or AD. (I'm not saying AD is the top house by any means but they do look for a certain type and peg themselves out to be exclusive, so unless you fit their type It'd be hard to get a bid there without dirty rushing.) Sig Chi is often considered "top house" so they are usually really selective in who they bid. But the other houses, I know people who weren't dirty rushed and joined.

It's very difficult to get a bid from DU, AD, or Sig Chi without attending dirty rush events. However, typically in the spring they do bid 1-3 kids who just showed up. Sig Pi and Chi Phi have given several bids who just showed up also.

As someone in a “top” house, about half of our pc every year comes from kids we meet the week of rush. Definitely still hit smokers even if you havent been invited to dirty rush

Yes it puts you at a disadvantage not going to dirty rush events but by no does that keep you from getting a bid. Go up to rush events, talk to a lot of brothers, but don’t expect to just show up and get a bid. Secondly, dirty rush in some cases keeps people from getting a bid because they are around too much, and people realize this dude’s weird af... so don’t feel bad if you haven’t been dirty rushin.
