fall rush questions

I didn't rush as a freshman, but my friends did and are now in different houses. Will the rush process be relatively easier for me considering I'd have friends in the previous pledge class?

Most houses do a voting system where you gotta get like 80% or something like that. I guess having those guys vouch and vote but at the end of the day you still gotta meet and get along with a majority of the brothers.
