didn’t get the house you wanted

I know it’s hard. Everyone knows it’s hard. You see your friends super happy and going off to core fours or literally any house and it sucks. Stay strong though and remember rush doesn’t define who you are. If you think a title will define your life at Cornell, you’re wrong! I won’t lie, the first month will be hard watching all your friends go through it but life moves on. Remember you are a beautiful, talented, worthy person and no sorority can give that OR take it away from you. And if a guy you meet out at a bar only cares about which house you’re in, probably not going to be a quality guy anyway LETS BE REAL. I’m telling you amazing girls out there, I’ve seen my own friends go through this too. The core four isn’t for everyone, and even though we don’t say it, not all of us are super happy in it.
Even core four girls are repulsed by guys who ask us what house we’re in before they ask us our names. Remember YOU are important, not your labels and someone who doesn’t see that doesn’t deserve to.
