some advice to rushees

one piece of advice i want to give to you freshman before you begin rushing. Join a house based on how close the brotherhood and overall pledge class is. You see a lot of times that mixers are an indicator of how "good" a frat is, but to be honest mixers are probably the more boring part of being fraternity. mixers are only kind of fun during wet week, and after its the same boring event every weekend.

you should be rushing a frat based on how close the brotherhood is, because those are friends that you're keep in touch with after you graduate. same thing goes for sororities too
