They used to be a top frat a few years ago, but they've been slipping ever since then. For example, their pledge party "Cairo" used to be considered the best pc party on campus. DX used to deck the whole house in gold foil and crazy decorations. Last year, though, it was one of the lamest pc parties, with weak attendance and little fun. Their pc's have also been weak lately, with a lot of awkward dudes. Sure, there's some fratty and cool dudes mixed in, but the weak pledge process in addition to a discontinuity of brothers has led to some sharp divisions / internal hostility in the house. Additionally, they used to mix with only Cour Four, but now primarily mix with KD and Pi Phi. Nothing wrong with this, but that certainly is not the mixing schedule of top or even upper frats that all have at least decent relations with Cour Four sororitys. All in all, a decent frat that used to be hype, but now is just another frat in the middle tier.
