sophomore rush??

Decided to not rush last year just because I distracted with stupid stuff last spring, but now I am really excited and I've been able to see a lot more houses and know which ones I'd wanna try out. Are frats reluctant to take sophomores, or does it basically just come down to being a chill ass person as usual?

Depends on the house, generally the "better" the house, the less willing they are to accept sophomores. But, sophs still get bids at all the frats nonetheless. What houses you considering rushing?

So for top houses like Sig Chi Sig Phi or even Chi Phi would they be against taking sophomores?

They definitely prefer freshmen. Top house take a few sophomores, but they're usually transfers. You better have some friends in those frats if want to be accepted as a soph and went to Cornell last year. Chi Phi and below won't be as critical as long as you're a chill dude
